PADI Rescue Diver Course

Liquid Dreams Diving, phuket is now proud to offer you the all NEW restructured PADI Rescue Diver Course.  The revised edition makes it easier to fit into the 21st Century lifestyles without compromise or loss of content.  It's a great improvement which includes new methodology and state of the art technology.

The Rescue Diver course is divided into Knowledge Development and Open Water Training sessions with the option of additional Confined Water / Swimming Pool sessions.  The Knowledge Development portion develops the principles and information you need for preventing and handling diving emergencies, with topics including Self Rescue, Diver Stress, Diving First Aid, Emergency Management, Equipment Problems, and Rescue and Assistance Procedures for both Conscious and Unconscious Victims on the Surface and Underwater.  

Knowledge development is usually handled through self study with the PADI Rescue Diver Manual and Padi Rescue Diver Video / DVD.  Your instructor will also give you review sessions prior to open water training and a final exam must also be passed before you receive your final PADI Rescue Diver certification.

During the Open Water Training, your Instructor will also demonstrate appropriate methods for the local training area and work with you until you have achieved an effective understanding and use of the material taught.

The PADI Rescue Diver course is usually taught over a period of 3 days which gives adequate time for knowledge development and practical application sessions with 1 of the day either being spent on boats trips ( weather providing ) or spent simulating exercises from the shoreline.  

This course does have a requirement that the student must hold a current training certificate in CPR and First Aid PRIOR to starting the course.  PADI accepts many different worldwide certifications for those already trained, but Liquid Dreams also offers the Emergency First Response course which is perfectly suited to this course.

Cost:

       Budget Package  9,000 Baht (students need to have own materials)

       Silver Package  10,000 Baht (students need to have own materials)

       Gold Package Mail for price (see below for details)

       Platinum Package Mail for price (see below for details)

Budget package includes 1 day Academic Training in Classroom, 1 day Swimming Pool Training and 1 day Open Water Training & Scenario Practice from a local beach.  There should also be time available for some short fun / sight-seeing dives on the coral reef dependant upon class size and logistics.

Silver package includes 1 day Academic Training in Classroom, 1 day Swimming Pool Training and 1 day Open Water Training & Scenario Practice on either a locally manufactured Thai Long-Tail boat, Inflatable Boat or standard dive boat (logistics permitting).  There may also be time available for some short fun / sight-seeing dives on the coral reef dependant upon class size and logistics.

Gold package includes all of the Silver package plus Rescue Diver Manual and Diving Accident Management Work Slate, Rescue Diver Certificate, Rescue Diver Embroidered Emblem. The Gold PADI Rescue Diver package includes a day trip on a purpose built dive boat to one of the local islands to carry out your open water rescue scenario evaluations.  There may also be time available for some short fun / sight-seeing dives on the coral reef dependant upon class size and logistics.

Platinum package includes all of the Gold package plus the Rescue Diver DVD
