PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty Course

Ever find yourself lost and confused underwater?

Want to minimize lengthy surface swims?

Feel more relaxed, able and confident as a PADI Underwater Navigator.

The purpose of the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of underwater navigation.  The Underwater Navigator Specialty course is intended to serve as a safe and supervised introduction to navigation techniques used in the underwater environment.  Training emphasises both fun & safety.

The course  is usually conducted in 1 day and consists of 3 dives of which the core navigation dive from the Advanced Open Water can be credited.

The knowledge gained in this course is excellently applied when you take the PADI Search & Recovery Diver Specialty

Prerequisites:

PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water or Equivalent.

Minimum Age: 12 years
