Like Koh Tachai, Koh Bon is favoured for it's rich marine life and interesting scuba diving encounters.  The dive site is found on the undersea extension of Koh Bon's West Ridge, and drops away sharply to in excess of 40 metres / 130 feet and then heads back to shallower water along the opposite side of the ridge.

A typical dive at Koh Bon starts by being dropped into the water on one side of the ridge, descending down to about 40 metres and the slowly making your way back to shallower water as you follow the ridge around.

At the correct time of year this is a favourite hang out for Manta Rays and playful specimens of up to 6 metres may be found here much to the delight a many photographer and videographers.

The area is abundant in both hard and soft corals and has many sea fans.  The shallower waters are a myriad of reef fish, whilst in the deeper water you may find Leopard Sharks basking in the sand, Turtles and large pelagics.
