PADI Drift Diver Specialty Course

The purpose of the PADI Drift Diver specialty course is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of drift diving.  The PADI Drift Diver Specialty course in intended to serve as a safe, supervised introduction to Drift diving.  Training emphasises fun & safety.

The PADI Drift Diver Specialty course consists of home study / Instructor lectures and a minimum of 2 Open Water dives.  The Advanced Open Water Drift Elective dive may be credited towards this certification.

Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver or Equivalent.

Minimum Age: 12 years
