Phuket : PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course Phuket Thailand

If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

After your five adventure dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment. It also gives you a real chance to explore some of the activities in diving which you are most interested in.

To enroll in this course you need to have:

PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

This certification includes five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three of the following dives:

Boat Diver
Drift Diver
Deep Diver
Diver Propulsion Vehicle
Multilevel Diver
Night Diver
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Search and Recovery Diver
Underwater Naturalist
Underwater Videographer
Underwater Photographer
Underwater Navigator
AWARE Fish Identification
Wreck Diver

Minimum Open Water Training: five dives over two days

PADI Advanced Open Water Divers at least 15 years of age can enrol in PADI Wreck or Deep Diver Specialty courses and continue on to the PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver course.

PADI Adventure Dives can also credit towards the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver certifications.

Budget package includes 5 Open Water Coral Reef dives from the beach over 2 days, use of materials and manuals for the course duration, PADI certification card, transfer to the training areas.

Budget Superior includes all of the above with the benefit of 5 coral reef dives from a locally manufactured Thai Long-Tail boat to sites that are inaccessible for a beach dive.

Silver package includes all of the above with the benefit of 5 coral reef dives from a purpose built day trip dive boat to the local islands surrounding phuket where the waters are clearer and have a larger diversity of marine life.

Gold package includes all of the Silver Package but also includes the Adventures in Diving Manual, Adventures in Diving Data Carrier Slate, Advanced Diving Education Module, Advanced Open Water Diver Certificate and Advanced Open Water Diver Embroidered Emblem.

Platinum package includes all of the gold package except the Adventures in Diving Manual, which is replaced by the Adventures in Diving CD ROM.
