King Cruiser Dive Site

8 years ago, on the 4th of May 1997, the 85m passenger ferry King Cruiser strayed off course on her way to Phi Phi Island and ran aground several kilometres from her usual path onto Anemone Reef.

With a huge hole torn in her hull, she went to a salty grave in less than an hour.  Although her fate adds to local maritime history, she has spawned a new life and been reincarnated as an artificial reef with a new family of vast marine species as her cargo and passenger list.

The huge engine room and car deck lie at a depth of 25m and if you rise up to around 18m you'll glide weightlessly past the passenger deck, still complete with the table, chairs and bathrooms.

Moving up further at 15m is the Captains cabin and wheelhouse.  The vast array of contrasting species and the colourful growth of the coral encrusting her once seaworthy body has made King Cruiser one of the most popular day trip destinations in Phuket.

Liquid Dreams / Kingfisher are one of the few companies that can make it to these islands in a day trip and still get you home before dark on our Express Catamarans.

For Good Diving, Good Fun, Good Company, Good Food and Life Long Memories, make it a Liquid Dreams Diving High Speed Catamaran Trip.
